Dr Tatenda Annastacia Mavetera is Zimbabwe's Minister of ICT, Postal and Courier Services. She is also a former actress, talk show hostess, and businesswoman. Dr Mavetera is a politician and a member of Zanu-PF. She was elected First Vice President of the PAP Youth and Young People Caucus on 2 July 2022.

Dr Mavetera was first elected a member of parliament in the 2018 Harmonised Elections. She joined ZANU PF and rose through the ranks to be Provincial Secretary for Indigenization. Before that she had been a national member and a provincial member in Zimbabwe Youth Council Board. She was elected Zanu-PF Seke-Chikomba women’s quota MP in 2018 under the Proportional Representation in the Parliament of Zimbabwe system.
Mavetera was occasionally assigned to act as Speaker of Parliament in the absence of Jacob Mudenda and his deputy Tsitsi Gezi.
In the August 2023 Harmonised Elections, Mavetera was elected as the Member of Parliament for the Chikomba West constituency on a ZANU PF ticket.
Following the 23-24 August 2023 elections, President Emmerson Mnangagwa announced his new cabinet on 11 September 2023, with the new Ministry of Information Communication Technology being headed by Dr Tatenda Mavetera.
